The Manatee Adult Baseball League Charitable Trust has been established
to provide funds to present basebal clinics for underprivileged children, to purchase
baseball equipment to donate to underprivileged children and to fund other baseball
related youth projects. The Trust's Solicitation Registration number is CH31476.
On July 31, 2010, the Manatee Adult Basebll Chartiable Trust co-sposored the Big Brothers /
Big Sisters Home Run Debry Competition and Field Day. The Trust rented the use of
the baseball field, batting cages, kickball field and basketball court. Players in
the Manatee Adult Baseball coordinated their portion of the event, provided instruction
on hitting, ran the home run derby, provided trophies for the Mens, Woemans, Boys, Girls,
and Children's divisions, free tickets to the Bradenton Marauders (Pirates affiliate)
FSL minor league games, "carnival games" and prizes and distributed souvenier batting
practice baseballs and distrubted packs of baseball cards provided by others.
On April 17, 2010, the Manatee Adult Basebll Chartiable Trust particpated in Big Brothers /
Big Sisters Big Blast event. Players in the Manatee Adult Baseball ran a booth with
"carnival games" and prizes.
On February 3, 2010, Commissioner Debbie Montgomery and League Chaplain Robert Bodi
presented to Brent Kuehl a check for $1,300 donated by the players thorugh the Manatee
Adult Baseball Charitable Trust for the "Rocco Fund" in memory of Rocco Kuehl who
passed away from complications of diabetes just after his first birthday.
December,2010 is our Free Bseball Clinic for underprivileged children.
January, 2011 is our Rocco Kuehl Memorial Tournament toi raise mon ey for the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation.
The Trust has 3 types of funds. The first is an unrestricted fund all of which which
may be used for the charitable purposes of the Trust. A second type of fund is a fund which
may be used only for specifically named purposes. The third is a perpetual fund from which
only the net earnings should be spent.

The Trust has received recognition by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3)
charity which is exempt from taxation to which donations may be a deducttion to the
person or entity making the donation. The Trust also is registered for
Florida Charitable Solicitations.
One of the first activites of the Trust will be to present a baseball clinic for
underprivileged children on January 16th, 2010 at Lakewood Ranch High School Fields.

For example: A donation of $15 will enable the Trust to provide a basic professional baseball
game experience to one guardian and child.
A donation of $30 will enable the Trust to provide an enhanced professional baseball
game experience to one guardian and child.
A donation of $25 will sponsor one participant in our Youth Baseball Clinic.
